Tight braid seam – Seams#18- Crochet#30

TIGHT BRAID SEAM – (With Hook) –

Tight braid seam, adds very little space between 2 pieces. The seam, as the name suggests has flat and tight braid appearance after finishing. It is done from the right side of the pieces, therefore it serves both as functional and decorative seam.

Piece#1 – Join yarn int he corner with 1SC, CH2. 1SC in the same space. * CH2, Skip 2 sts, 1SC in the next st* Repeat * * all around. Each corner will have (1SC, CH2, 1SC) 

Piece#2 – Work the edges as in piece #1 on 3 sides. Stop in the corner stitch with 1SC. *Pull the hook and insert in the CH2 space of piece#1, make 1 SL ST, CH1. Make 1SC in the same corner space of piece#2. CH2, Skip 2 sts, 1SC in the next ST.* Repeat * * till the end. 

To join 3rd piece, work edges on 3 sides and join with the corresponding side of the other piece.

To join 4th piece, work edges on 2 sides and join with the corresponding sides of the other 2 pieces.
